The Challenge

Working in ESG since 2015 and having already developed numerous initiatives, BTG Pactual’s ESG leaders understood that it was time to take the next step in terms of maturity, by eliminating manual tasks that consumed a lot of the team’s time and adopting a system that could bring greater visibility to progress on different topics, facilitating the decision-making and reporting process.

Our Work

BTG Pactual

BTG has implemented several Ecosystem modules, including the B3 Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE B3), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), besides the GHG and Energy module. The indicators collected in Ecosystem were also important for the response of initiatives external to the platform, such as the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the Global Risks Report, led by the World Economic Forum.

Results

BTG Pactual

Since implementing Ecosystem, BTG has achieved greater automation in initiatives (such as filling in data for GHG inventory and responding to reporting programs), as well as visibility of indicators for senior management and traceability of data. The ability to attach evidence saved the team time by replacing control via emails, spreadsheets, and folders with an integrated platform, and facilitated the auditing of information.
