Who we are
WayCarbon is a global company specializing in solutions for the transition to a net-zero economy. Founded in 2006, WayCarbon leverages scientific and business knowledge, supported by technology, to help companies and governments in their climate change and sustainability strategies.
In 2022, it was acquired by Banco Santander Spain, accelerating its ambition to contribute to the adoption of commitments and the implementation of effective solutions to address climate change.

As a certified B Corporation, it is part of the movement that began in the United States in 2006 to redefine success in business to include not only financial success, but also the well-being of society and the planet.

Our Clients
We have a portfolio of over 500 clients in the private sector, as well as extensive experience in the public sector and serving multilateral organizations (UNDP, CAF, World Bank, IDB) in the areas of mitigation, adaptation, and structuring of carbon reduction and sequestration projects. Our technology solutions are used by clients in 40 countries.

Our corporate governance processes and policies have been developed with a focus on strength and trust to create value for the company, employees, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. In addition, through this responsible management, we generate positive impacts on society and the planet.
WayCarbon operates independently, under the control of Banco Santander S.A. (SAN:SM). The company is committed to the privacy and security of its customers, protecting their data and information against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, communication or any form of unlawful processing, in accordance with the principles of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
Compliance
Transparency Report of MTE Ordinance No. 3.714/2023
The Salary Transparency and Remuneration Criteria Report was prepared and published by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), which collected and organized tables with data from 2022. This report does not compare salaries and remuneration criteria between men and women for performing work of equal value or exercising the same function and length of service, serving exclusively to fulfill the obligations provided in Decree number 11.795/2023 and MTE Ordinance number 3.714/2023.
